Air Motors Accessories
Air motor accessories mount a vane air motor into a machine and adapt what its shaft drives. Mounting flanges bolt the motor perpendicular to a machine face; mounting feet lay it parallel to the surface and keep it from tipping. Both are cut for a specific motor frame — M16/MR16, M25/MR25, M39/MR39, M84/MR84 and M180 — in the KL, KSL and TL shaft versions, drilled or blank. Spring-loaded shafts turn a threaded TL motor into a pneumatic screw spindle on 1/2 in. square drive, front nuts are listed in 1-5/8 in. for M84 and M39 low-speed frames, and a bronze silencer drops exhaust noise. Perpendicular or Parallel Mounting
A flange fixes the motor square to the mounting surface, so the output shaft comes straight out of the machine face. A foot lays the motor along the surface on a broad, stable base. Flanges come drilled and undrilled — the no-hole versions let you drill to an existing bolt pattern. Read the frame and shaft code off the nameplate first; an M39 KSL flange will not fit an M39 KL/TL motor.

Common Questions
How do I know which flange fits my air motor? Match two things: the frame number (M16, M25, M39, M84 or M180) and the shaft code (K, KL, KSL or TL). Both are on the motor. If the nameplate is gone, the exploded views in the parts and diagrams hub will identify it.
Can I mount a CP air motor on its side? Use a mounting foot rather than a flange — the M16/MR16 KL foot and its larger siblings are made for parallel mounting and stop the motor rolling under torque reaction.
