The APT Model 119 is a T-handle pneumatic trench digger for clay, shale, hardpan and frozen ground the handle layout of choice for cutting trench to lay pipe, phone line and foundation work, where a T-grip steers a vertical cut better than a D-grip. It shares its cylinder and most internal parts with APT’s D-handle diggers, so one parts stock services the whole family.

Chuck options in 7/8 x 3-1/4 in. and 1 x 4-1/4 in. hex match common digging steels spades and cutters live under clay digger blade tools and a built-in automatic oiler feeds the piston without hanging a separate oiler in the line.
