KAPD-23 ground rod drive caps are machined in-house by Crowder Supply for the KAPD-23 hydraulic post driver, seating between the hammering piston and the rod top to keep the rod from mushrooming as it drives. Four sizes handle 5/8, 3/4, 7/8 and 1 in. ground rods, and every cap fits the CK200 drive chuck or any other post driver with a 2 in. I.D. chuck.
Each cap is hardened alloy steel, precision-machined to cut misalignment and vibration, and shaped for quick attachment and removal in the field.
