The Atlas Copco LPD-LD is a light duty handheld hydraulic post driver that excels as a ground rod driver: fitted with a standard 16 or 25 mm bushing, its integrated anvil strikes directly on top of the rod, and high-frequency driving leaves the rod top undamaged for a better connection to the next section. A PTFE-type guide bushing protects the zinc or copper surface of ground rods on the way down.
Pulling the split-pin swaps bushings or drive adaptors in the field, converting the LPD-LD into a fence stake, pole or tube driver, and a press-down handle makes starting and driving easy.
