The Epiroc HB 2500 is a 5,500 lb (2,500 kg) Premium range hydraulic breaker for excavators and other carriers in the 59,500–101,000 lb (27–46 t) class. It drives a 6.1 in. (155 mm) working tool at 280–580 bpm on 44.9–58.1 gpm (170–220 l/min) of oil flow at 2,320–2,610 psi (160–180 bar) and up to 88.5 HP (66 kW) of hydraulic input.

The HB is the Epiroc Premium range heavy breaker, built for efficiency and performance with high durability. VibroSilenced Plus isolates the percussion mechanism from the breaker box to cut noise and vibration. DUST configurations carry the DustProtector II sealing system, which keeps dust out of the tool guiding area in dry, dusty work. HATCON connectivity (operating hours, location and service intervals through My Epiroc) can be retrofitted with the HATCON kit.
