The Epiroc MB 1200 is a 2,650 lb (1,200 kg) Premium range hydraulic breaker for excavators and other carriers in the 33,100–57,300 lb (15–26 t) class. It drives a 4.72 in. (120 mm) working tool at 340–680 bpm on 26.4–37 gpm (100–140 l/min) of oil flow at 2,320–2,610 psi (160–180 bar) and up to 56.3 HP (42 kW) of hydraulic input.

The MB is Epiroc’s Premium range medium breaker for concrete and asphalt demolition, secondary rock breaking and primary rock excavation. VibroSilenced Plus suspends the percussion mechanism on non-metallic elements inside a fully sealed box to cut noise and vibration, and energy recovery puts the piston recoil energy back to work. AutoControl adjusts the piston stroke automatically (short stroke with a higher impact rate in soft material, long stroke with higher impact energy in hard material), and StartSelect lets the operator choose AutoStart for unstable ground or AutoStop, which prevents blank firing on solid ground. ContiLube II automatic lubrication keeps greasing consistent and cuts maintenance stops. HATCON connectivity can be retrofitted with the HATCON kit.

The MB 1200 is offered here in the Standard, DUST and High Temp configurations, as Epiroc lists them for this model: DUST configurations carry the DustProtector II two-stage sealing system; High Temp is Epiroc’s high-thermal-load version of the breaker.
