The Relton Retro-Fit Drill Bit for SDS puts retrofit-style carbide drilling on SDS and SDS-Plus rotary hammers, so crews get the hammering action of an SDS machine without giving up the bit style their anchoring work calls for. A carbide-tipped cutting edge handles concrete, brick and stone, while the fluted body clears dust to keep penetration speed up on anchor, rebar-dowel and utility holes.
The SDS shank locks into the rotary hammer chuck for positive torque transfer with minimal slippage, and the heat-treated alloy body shrugs off impact loads that bend lesser bits. It slots into the same lineup as our electric hammer tools: add a Quik-Lok adapter when shank systems need bridging, and reach for a rebar cutter bit when embedded steel stops a standard masonry bit.

Will this bit fit my rotary hammer?
It is made for SDS and SDS-Plus chucks the shank locks into the chuck for positive torque transfer. It is not for SDS-Max, spline-drive or straight-shank drills.
What materials can it drill?
The carbide-tipped cutting edge is intended for concrete, brick and stone, with fluted dust clearance to keep penetration speed up on anchor and dowel holes. If you hit embedded rebar, switch to a dedicated rebar cutter bit rather than forcing a masonry bit through.
