The rivet buster 11X narrow chisel puts a thin, sharp blade behind the heavy blow of a rivet buster for controlled cutting where a point would scatter and a wide blade would stall: cutting clean lines in concrete demolition, breaking out masonry with precision, and shearing rivets and bolts in structural steel. Heat-treated steel on the standard 11X shank, in lengths from 10 in. to 72 in.
On demolition work the chisel pairs naturally with the 11X moil point point to fracture, chisel to cut and finish and both belong to the same rivet buster chisel family. The tools that drive them live on our rivet busters page, sized by 6, 8 and 11 in. stroke.
- Thin, sharp blade concentrates force for precision cutting and chipping
- Standard 11X shank for pneumatic rivet buster hammers
- Lengths of 10, 12, 18, 24, 36, 48, 60 and 72 in.
- Heat-treated steel for hardness, impact strength and durability
- Primary use in demolition and concrete cutting; secondary rivet and bolt shearing in shipbuilding, bridgework and structural steel
- Stocked by Crowder Supply in Denver in all the popular lengths
11X Narrow Chisel FAQ
Will this chisel fit my rivet buster?
Yes, if the tool takes the standard 11X shank the common shank across pneumatic rivet busters in the 6, 8 and 11 in. stroke sizes.
What lengths are available?
Eight lengths: 10, 12, 18, 24, 36, 48, 60 and 72 in., all in heat-treated steel.
Narrow chisel or moil point which do I want?
Use the point to fracture mass concrete and the narrow chisel to cut clean lines, finish edges and shear rivets or bolts. Most demolition crews carry both; the rivet buster buyer’s guide covers matching steel to the tool.
