The APT Model 125 is the lighter clay digger in the American Pneumatic Tools line, built for digging clay, shale, hardpan and frozen ground where medium to lightly packed soil meets light demolition trench edges, form lines and tunneling around existing foundations. A short body, latch-type retainer and 7/8 x 3-1/4 in. hex chuck keep it quick to handle and quick to re-steel.

A flapper valve lets dirt pass through without stopping the tool, and the drop-forged steel D-handle, deep case-hardened cylinder and replaceable chuck and piston-stem bushings are built for rebuilds rather than replacement.
