Shop Presses: Hand or Air Pump
Both press ranges share the frame: welded steel, two floor-anchor holes per foot, and two removable bed rods on a winch so one operator can reset the bed height. The difference is the drive. The pump-driven presses add an air foot pump for faster cycles; the standard frames are hand operated. CP lists six sizes, CP86101 through CP86751.
Proving the Torque
The mechanical CP89 holds 4% to ISO 6789-1:2017 with front-handle adjustment and a mechanism rated to 25,000 cycles; the eTorque version reads ±3% torque and ±2° angle on 12 LEDs, with CPLinQ on the TC models. Keep them honest with gear from maintenance and calibration. For powered wheel torque, cross to cordless torque wrenches.

Which workshop press do I need? Size the frame to the heaviest press-fit you do and leave headroom. If you press bearings all day, take the air pump version — the foot pump saves a lot of arm over a shift.
What is a CP86301? One of the six CP86XXX press frames, mid-range in the series, with the same two-step stroke, anchored feet and winch-adjusted bed as the rest. Call for capacity and bed dimensions on a specific variant.
