The paving breaker digging chisel puts a tapered, sharp-tipped blade on a breaker for powered digging, trenching and material removal in ground too hard for shovels and too mixed for a spade. The tip penetrates compacted soil, clay, asphalt and old concrete, breaking material loose ahead of removal and it digs cleanly around pipes, roots and rock where precision matters.
In softer, more uniform ground a clay spade moves more material per stroke, and a machine from our clay & trench digger range is the all-day option; the digging chisel wins where trench lines cross rubble, roots and buried concrete. It comes in five hex shanks alongside the rest of our blade tool steel.
