The Epiroc Blunt Tool is the blunt tool working tool for Epiroc hydraulic breakers, listed here by the breaker it fits (SB 102, SB 152, SB 202, SBU 220, SB 302, SBU 340, SB 452, SB 552, SB 702, SB 1102, MB 750 through MB 1650, EC 40T through EC 180T and HB 2000 through HB 10000 DP) and by tool line. Blunt tool: optimum energy transmission, no torsion effect, no penetration or wedge effect. Typical applications: recycling (steel rebar separation); secondary breaking of oversize. Diameters run 1.65–9.45 in. and total lengths 16.1–74.8 in.; the exact dimensions, line and tip or blade profile of each tool are on the Specifications tab once a breaker model is selected.

ClassicLine: special alloy optimized for hydraulic breakers, advanced heat treatment for durability. ProLine: high-nickel alloy and special hardening for hard, abrasive rock; tip designed to flush dust from the impact area. EssentialLine: optimized alloy and heat treatment for day-to-day breaker use. Every tool runs in the breaker’s floating-fit bushing and should be greased with Epiroc chisel paste at regular intervals and repositioned to avoid overheating. Other tool types for the same breakers are under Epiroc working tools; the breakers themselves are under Epiroc hydraulic breakers.
